This project was a collaboration between Oakland International High School, Community Health for Asian Americans and Whole Foods Market. On a large linen canvas (72" x 48") Patricia created an InterCultural Map: an aesthetic representation the cultures of origin of Oakland International High School students. An interesting discussion occurred in front of the painting, while the students were trying to find the country of origin on the map incorporated in the painting: "what is that you remember/miss about your country of origin?"
